Majid Asadi (born November 28, 1999) is an emerging filmmaker whose dedication to the craft was sparked by his older brother, initiating his professional journey as a production manager on the short film Once Upon a Time. Cultivating his expertise through practical immersion on independent projects such as Once Upon a Time 2047 and Black Cat, Asadi transitioned to directorial work within the horror genre. His choice of genre serves a dual purpose: to rigorous test his creative capabilities and to address a notable deficit in genre diversity within contemporary Iranian cinema, ultimately fostering deeper emotional engagement with audiences.
